Misha Wilson on Creating a Six-Figure Traffic Ecosystem

In an exclusive No Excuses Summit interview, Misha Wilson revealed how he created an automated traffic generating system that could yield a six-figure income for any product or business. Basically, this is his own proven and tested method towards success!

Wilson went from zero to $500,000 a month in a span of 2 years. Before all this, Wilson was a Tennis varsity player who later dropped out from a college scholarship for overtraining (and burning out). Even as a young teenager, Wilson is much more drawn to entrepreneurship, and working as his own boss.

However, young Wilson did not know where to start. After getting strained from over-training, he could not play tennis anymore. He also cannot do any strenuous activity such as working out or even surfing. Looking for something to do, that’s when he met David Smith and launched Elite Marketing Pro with him.

Before hitting big with his Super Affiliate Network, Wilson was pretty much doing well as an affiliate marketer. He dipped his toes whenever and wherever he could until he launched his own network where he earned over $2.7 million in just a year!

But Wilson also emphasized that getting where he is now was not an instant success in any way – and that he was all over the place before he finally pieced together his own affiliate network which clicked for him and the market he is targeting.

Now Wilson shares his traffic ecosystem in which he made over $500,000 in revenues each month. The whole thing is a process, and it is not just a one-time landing page where people can just opt-in, sign, and be on their way. His process has created a six-figure ecosystem but requires you to keep in constant touch with your market. Below are some very helpful tips.

  1. Capture Page – This is the first thing that your prospects see when they come across you online. Wilson understands that the capture page should be very attractive. Hence, most entrepreneurs would put their logo or use creative designs for the page. However, the most important thing that the capture page should do is for it to capture curiosity. It must have something else in it that can hook your prospects in. It could be an interesting video, a promo, discount, or freebie that can entice your prospects to really act/click right away.
  2. Leveraging Bridge Pages – The bridge page is like your product page. This is where the prospect or customer really sees what the products are all about. Now as an affiliate, there are also tens of thousands of people out there who are basically selling the same product as you. Here, Wilson said that it is very important to differentiate yourself. In short, you must tell them a selling point. Communicate with your prospects! Wilson also said that it is a good rule of thumb to be an affiliate for other products first – before creating your own (that is if you plan to sell your own products soon). This is because selling/marketing other products will give you time to explore the ins and outs of entrepreneurship. Plus it gives you space to actually hone the right skill set and ideas that you can use to create better products in the future!
  3. Work on your Follow-Up – Now Wilson knows for a fact that not every prospect will immediately buy your products/services the first time they step on your website. Basically, it is safer to assume this as a rule so you can cover this base with a strategy too. So for these kinds of prospects, you really have to work on the follow-up. This means building a relationship with them (usually via email). Sure, people won’t buy from you the first time, especially if they don’t know who you are. So what you do is to introduce yourself to them and slowly but surely cultivate a relationship until they are already quite familiar with who you are and what you do. Most of all, you have to be consistent in following-up. Thus, this aspect would really take a lot of work and effort.
  4. Create Multiple Channels for Business – As the popular saying goes – different folks, different strokes. Nowadays, you have to accept the fact that people have different preferences and consumer attitudes. Some of us like to order through an official website, while some would like to order via email, or through Social Media even. Some people also want to order via webinars or conferences! And if you want to increase your customer-base, Wilson suggests that you really have to be flexible and get these covered. Especially if you are selling expensive products. Say for example it costs $3,000 or more, most prospects would love a more personal touch before ordering. You are not going to make this sale via website or email, you need to touch base via phone, presentation, or a webinar.
  5. Don’t Be Afraid If You Suck at Webinars – So this means you have to make your presentation, right? While Wilson and many other network marketers can pull off great conferences today, they certainly did not nail it the first time (or the first few times). Again, this is one of the skills that can be learned and honed. And it’s normal to feel weird and shaky, but that is perfectly normal! As long as you put in the effort and try to improve yourself every time, you’ll be good to go.

Lastly, Wilson explains the importance of maintaining a blog. Although tons of marketers and entrepreneurs would rather choose Social Media, emails, or live videos to connect with their prospects, having a reliable content hub is a great way to boost your authority.

Your blog/website can be always used as a go-to resource for old and new prospects/customers alike. It is where all your content is placed, and it is convenient whenever you need to pull up a reference for new targets, or when you update some of the past topics you have talked about.
