Almost everyone will tell you to use Social Media, particularly Facebook to build a network marketing business. But how, exactly? Well, there are many ways, but we’re here to teach you how to exactly do just that using Facebook Groups.
Naturally, you have to look around for potential team members first. When you have a small team already, make them members of your group page and even share the administration of the page (so they can also work with you in the management of the Facebook group).
The aim of the group is for customers and potential team members to have a look at your products and engage personally with your team members. While it’s perfectly fine to have your teammates become part of the group, you have to ask the leads and potentials first before adding them in.
Remember, anyone will be annoyed if they are added to a group page that they aren’t really interested in. That’s just basic decency in the digital age. Besides, it is also one way of knowing if a certain lead is indeed strong – because if they aren’t interested enough about your business, they would not want to be a part of the group, right?
So now that we have that all cleared up, let’s talk about what you should do:
This is crucial because this is the very first post that visitors see on your page. So what should that be? It is actually recommended to pin a video post that welcomes or gives a little introduction about your group to every visitor. You can also add to your house rules there too (you wouldn’t like to invite spammers in the group, right?).
Feedback and testimonials are ways to enhance your credibility as a business. So whenever a customer sends you some reviews and feedback, take a screenshot and post it in the group! This is also a great way to convince leads that your business is indeed legit and trustworthy in terms of service and quality.
You’re on Facebook precisely because you want open, two-way and direct communication. So it would not make sense if you don’t even answer queries or tend to concerns on your group page. You are on there to share the opportunity and knowledge to leads and customers, so don’t disappoint them! A fun and engaging group will garner more views and attention – exposing your products and business to a constant and growing audience.
But it’s not just about the leads either. You also have to engage constantly with your team members. How? By giving them a little recognition after a job well done. Post about their successes, their awards, and even their personal journey. And that leads us to…
Some businesses actually do this on Stories or Facebook Live. The good thing about this is that it signifies that your business is transparent and customers will even feel more involved with your business. It is a good way to nurture a community-like organization, rather than just a detached profit-oriented venture.
You may also share the history of your business and the stories of your team members through videos, photos and blog posts. You can share about the ups, downs, and successes of your team, and what all keeps you moving forward. Of course, you can also show how your products are prepared and where you get the crafts, ingredients or materials (if any).
The only way to build a successful networking business is by attracting more people constantly. To target the right people, you need to have data about your group. Look at the average age, location, gender, and lifestyles of people who frequently engage with your posts. From that, you can draw out a profile of who your market is, and how you can target them more effectively in future Facebook campaigns.
Behind all these, you must remember that building a network marketing business cannot be done overnight. You have to constantly build-up your product, release webinars and coaching sessions for your team members from time to time. On the group page, you should be able to prospect, sell and recruit simultaneously. If you can master that, then your network will certainly grow after a period of time.
