How Does the Reverse Invite Method Work?

It’s quite simple.

Your goal is to “invite” the prospects themselves to check out your business. You go out of your way to make yourself stand out.

And there’s no better platform for that task than social media.

For us, we use Facebook as our primary platform. We do a combination of paid and organic posts. You can use your personal profile, Facebook group, or your business page.

We find text-based posts with images work great. But Facebook Live is our go-to medium.

If you’re strapped for cash, we suggest you stick to organic posts. However, do keep in mind that boosting posts gets you in front of more people. That’s when the Reverse Invite Method becomes more effective.

What Kind of Content Do You Publish?

Facebook Live works best for us but you don’t have to do videos if you don’t want to.

Honestly, any type of content would work just as long as it’s able to address the following:

  • What is holding your prospects back?
  • What information will ease your prospects’ minds?
  • What reassurance or revelation can you provide to help your prospects move forward?

Think deep and understand all of their pain points. 

Answer those questions and you’ll be able to find the right message to publish. 

Don’t Talk About the Product… For Now

Should you tell everyone about your product during live streams? Do you mention them in your paid posts?

No.

If you just come out and sell your product, no one would care. You have to make your prospects realize that they have a problem first. If you tell them that you have a solution to their problems, they’ll be more inclined to take action.

Reverse the Invite

You’ve made your prospects aware that you have a solution to their problems. What’s the next step?

You get them to take action. 

It’s time to reverse the invite.

How?

You get them to leave comments like “more info” if they want to learn more. Or you can have them send you private messages. This is how you get your prospects to come to you. 

Now they have to talk to you to get the answers they seek.

And because they’re the ones who are reaching out, they’ll be more receptive to what you have to say.

Focus on Yourself

There’s one more thing you have to remember. You need to put the focus on yourself, not the product.

Stop selling your business and your product. People want to hear from you. Tell real stories. Share facts. Develop a bond with your audience through your posts.
